As a little girl this ring was my absolute favourite.
It’s my Mothers. It was kept in her jewellery box that sat on top of her dresser. I would ask to try it on constantly. Even as an adult when I think of my mom’s jewellery this ring stands out in my mind. There were others made of stones that sparkled. But the smooth black feel of this coral piece always connected with me.
As a jeweller I now also love the back of this ring. It’s completely made from square wire and the coral is epoxyed to the metal and has stood the test of time.
