I remember getting this necklace at a church bazaar in Cranbrook when I was about 8 years old. I loved it instantly. It reminded me of a card game we had where your goal was to get the right cards to build your creatures body. There is four sides to this necklace, a mermaid, a body builder man, a raggedy anne type girl, and some sort of unusual ostrich. They are divided into 3 parts that all twist around so that you can mix up their bodies. Hours of entertainment. I would love to know more about this necklace but so far my queries have turned up no information. If anyone knows anything about this necklace please let me know.
I have one as well, my father gave it to me when I was younger. I do not know where it came from but he told me that it was a sailor’s necklace. Mine looks identical except the chain for it is long gone. Mine is on a leather cord instead. It’s been in my possession since at least the mid-90s.
Did you ever find anything about it? There are no artist marks that I can discern.
Hi Valerie,
No I still haven’t found out anything about it. I’ve asked a lot of people and no one has ever seen one like it before. I would love to see a picture of yours! I love that there is another one out there! If you can email it to me info at pkkdesign dot com or post it to my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pkkdesign that would be fantastic!

Hi Crystal 🙂
Thanks so much for visiting my jewellery story land! My apologies for the slow reply, I’ve been slowly getting back to business in the new year. I love hearing that other people owned this necklace as well! I still haven’t found out any details on who made them. If you ever dig yours up I would love to see a picture and share it on my blog.
All the best,
Patsy
I THINK MY MOM GOT IT AT GOLD CIRCLE OR HILLS
THE STORES WERE LIKE TARGET AND WAL-MART & K-MART THATS ALL THE INFO I HAVE
Hello, I have this exact necklace (different chain). I have had it for 32 years & have been trying to figure out what it is for just as long, this is the 1st I have EVER seen another one!!!
Hi Kiki! That’s so great. I’d love to see a photo of it if you felt like sharing, my email is hello @patsykay .com I’d love to find out who made these necklaces. Do you know where you got yours?
Hi, yes my great uncle gave it to me. The only thing he told me was no matter what anyone ever offers you for it, NEVER part with it… I’ve searched for 32 years trying to find out what it is. In those 32 yrs the only other ones I know of are posted on your page (just found that couple days ago).
I have that exact necklace. Can you tell me anything about it.
Hi Terry,
I wish I could! It’s still such a mystery. With yours that now makes 5 or 6 of us who have them but know very little about them. It seems we all got them when we were kids which is interesting. I got mine in Cranbrook BC Canada, the others I believe were all in the US. A little over a year ago I started posting photos in jewelry identification groups but got nothing. Would love to hear more about yours? Where and when you got it. You can email me hello @ patsykay .com
or feel free to comment it on here. One day maybe we will solve this!
